Fundraising!

24/7 has been fundraising for the last couple of months for their 3 mission trips; Columbia, Taiwan, and the L.A. Dream Center. 24/7 started off the weekend selling merchandise and hamburgers at Bayside Community Church! 24/7 has had a great time fundraising and has done a lot of work in trying to raise money to take nations for Christ. They have been successful in raising money so far, but still haven't reached the final goal.  Come out to a Bayside service Sunday morning, and support 24/7 on missions.

Serving At Bayside

24/7 serves at Bayside Community every weekend. 24/7 students serve in all areas: A.C.M.E. , Fusion, Parking, Hospitality, BayPro, Worship and 24/7 runs the Cafe. Also 24/7 has been serving at our new Bayside West Campus and God is totally moving in that place! You can always find a group of 24/7 students sitting in the front left row during service jumping and praising Jesus. 24/7 loves Bayside, Pastor Randy and helping in any way to attract people to God.

Adopt-a-Block

24/7 serves at Adopt-a-Block every Saturday. Adopt-a-Block is a Bayside outreach in low income areas. 24/7 is now serving at 4 different blocks every saturday.  24/7 and volunteers cook pancakes, sing, and play soccer with the kids in the area.  24/7 has been doing a great job making relationships with the people, and showing the love of Christ. God is moving in Palmetto and in Pride Park.  Palmetto and Pride Park have the highest gang violence rate in South Florida, and since Baysides Adopt-a-Block it has lowered by 17%. 24/7 is making a difference in Bradenton and its all for the glory of God! Come out and serve with 24/7 at Adopt-a-Block  every saturday at 8:30 Desoto Mall.

College Outreaches

Wednesday is 24/7's college and high-school outreach day. The Venue is having a small group bash this coming Tuesday and its going to be awesome! 24/7 visited 3 colleges pumping The Venue and handing out free cokes.  24/7 works hard to bring more souls to Christ, and make relationships at college campuses. God is moving in college aged students lives, and the enemy is not going to stop 24/7 from bringing more in. Please join 24/7 this Tuesday at the Venue for free food and life change! hungry.

24/7 went on a fasting retreat this past week called HUNGRY.  The retreat took place at beautiful lake Arora. It was an amazing retreat as 24/7 sought God together. 24/7 worshiped, played games, and listened to sermons about the Holy Spirit as the weekend went on. Justin opened up Hungry with an incredible sermon on hunger being a spiritual thermometer for our lives. Justin said, "What are you feeding yourself that is keeping you from Gods best?" Also, 24/7 watched the passion and had an incredible night of worship with communion. The Lord is moving in 2011 as 24/7 denies their flesh, and replaces it with God.

21 days of prayer and fasting!

The first week back from Christmas Break has been incredible.  24/7 is starting the new year with 21 days of prayer and fasting.   21 days of prayer and fasting is nationwide throughout the ARC.  24/7 will deny themselves from food for 5 days, and all media for 21 days. 24/7 is seeking God for our city, and for a closer intimate relationship with Him. God is going to move this new year and is already moving! Please pray with 24/7 during this time of 21 days of prayer and fasting!

24/7 is back!!

Christmas break is over and 24/7 is back, and started the first day back in prayer. After prayer we had an open discussion to talk about the new year.  The new schedule in place, and God is going to do some awesome things in 2011. The 21 day fast starts this Sunday night, and everyone is so excited for what God is going to do and is already doing.

Christmas with 247!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas was awesome this year, as 24/7 gathered around the tree at the Robinsons in PJS! First, for dinner they had Emily Slaughters wonderful chili. and for desert brownies, cookies, and cake.  Then 247 gathered around the fireplace to receive their gifts.  The first years got wonderful looking gray hoodies for the winter weather. The 2nd years received awesome Cadre jackets, and Spencer received a Northface rain coat with Lead Cadre on it.  Justin & Stef for the grand gift were surprised with Alabama tickets to the bowl game in Orlando from all of 24/7. Lastly, they all gathered around to watch Elf and eat popcorn. Christmas 2010 was awesome this year! Hope everyone else has a Merry Christmas with lots of love from, 24/7!

ECO 2010

ECO 2010 is over, and it was amazing! All of the first years killed it as each team competed for the win.  It was a hard and long race, but everyone gave everything they had till the finish.  CD won the race, and Dunamis came in 2nd.  All the teams did a fantastic job! The week was hard and challenging, but yet again 24/7 pulled off another successful ECO challenge.Today, 24/7 had debrief with Justin, and everyone shared what they got out of ECO  Everyone learned a ton from ECO, and Pastor Justin explained how its not just a race, but something you will keep forever.  When ministry/life gets hard 24/7 will look back at ECO, and say i did a 50 mile race then, and I can do this now. The reward is not this life, but in heaven...

Preparation for ECO

Eco starts tonight, and 24/7 prayer was amazing this morning as they sought after God to prepare their hearts.  Eco  challenge is one of 24/7's biggest and most competitive event of the whole year.  They train all 1st semester for this event, and now is the time to see if it paid off.  Each team will undergo mental and physical challenges for 75 miles in the Alabama mountains. This week 24/7 is going to be challenged at another level, and they are fired up. Photos will be uploaded of the week...

ECO TRAINING

Today was crazy for 24/7 as they trained for ECO.  The training involved a missions pack that is full of supplies that you would normally camp with.  Each team started at separate places in Bradenton. The spots were all 12 miles from Bayside Community Church, and each team raced to the church.  The winner got 2 intermural points, and 2nd place got 1.  The three teams were neck and neck at the finish and Dunamis got the win (Exario 2nd, and CD 3rd)! Each team did a great job today, and will do great for ECO. Good luck teams!

The Venue.

The Venue has been going awesome, and a new series called "Death and all his friends". Last night the sermon was on PRIDE, and how we get in our own way.  Justin gave a practical message that impacted many with freedom from pride. Also, we have 4 of our 24/7 students participating in the Venue band. Kara sings, Joe plays base guitar, Parker plays keys/drums/vocals, and Nick on the guitar. It was Nicks first time to play on the Venue stage, and he rocked it. Great job Nick! Come out and join 24/7 at the Venue with other college aged & 20 somethings at 7:30 in the youth room.
